American Beautyberry – Callicarpa

We don’t like winter around here, and late fall is close enough to winter that it can be a bummer too. Sometimes what you need at the gray, blah time of year is a pop of color. That’s what callicarpa does best. Come fall, the light green leaves fall off and you’re left with a profusion of purple berries on bare branches. And, it’s a native plant too!
