What type of patio is right for you? The short answer: it depends! The longer answer requires us to learn as much as we can about your tastes, your budget, and how you plan to entertain on your patio.
A Culpeper patio installer looks for these 3 things
When we make a visit to your property, we’ll have some questions for you. These include (but aren’t limited to):
- what is the purpose of the patio? That’s what determines the size of your Culpeper patio. Do you just need a small pad at the back door to keep the dog from tracking mud all over the house? Are you looking for a small place to enjoy your morning coffee? Or do you regularly entertain the whole neighborhood and you need as much space as possible? These are all questions a qualified Culpeper patio installer will ask.
- what materials do you like? Patios in Culpeper can be built using a variety of materials, but that may be dictated by your budget.
- what is your budget? Concrete and stamped concrete are your least expensive options. Pavers come in so many styles that they can be comparable in price to stamped concrete, or as expensive as using natural stone! Flagstone and travertine are the most costly options.
Want to see a Culpeper patio design by Revolutionary Gardens in person?
We’re proud to be the Culpeper landscape design firm responsible for the beautiful landscape elements at Old House Vineyards. The patio at the rear of the tasting room is a traditional Pennsylvania variegated flagstone on concrete. For a more unusual look, check out the patio down by the pond, a travertine marble with a border of lilac-colored flagstone.
