Smokeless Firepits by Zentro: How to Party Around the Fire and NOT Smell Like Jerky

Have you noticed the new layout of the website? It’s because I’m getting away from project management and installs and really focusing on writing, speaking, and video content. I’m still wrapping my head around the new tagline and mission statement of Revolutionary Gardens, but it’s going to have something to do with being the online hub for plant, landscape, and garden geeks.

Because those who geek out over these things are my people, I get to learn about really cool products from the folks I know best. Last week I drove up to Shenandoah Stone, the contractor yard and Harpers Ferry location for Sislers Stone, to meet up with my friends Sally, Steve, and Kent. During our tour (it was my first time at that location) they mentioned a product they had seen at a recent trade show. It’s a firepit by a company called Zentro, and it’s designed to burn so efficiently that it’s virtually smokeless. Here’s a drawing from their website, explaining the way the professors of the Dark Arts scientists at Zentro do it:

Is a smokeless firepit that big a deal? I’d say so. For one thing, no more complaints from your neighbors that smoke is blowing in their windows. For another, no more going to bed after a night around the firepit and waking up to a bed that smells like a pit BBQ shack on a cold morning. Sort of like bourbon, a firepit can be magical that night and regrettable the next morning. You can even cook over this, and you know that sells me.

Interested? Let me know, or give them a call at Sislers and they can probably set you up. It sounds like a neat product and to whet your appetite, here’s a video:
