My name is Dave Marciniak, and I’m proud to be the owner and lead designer of Revolutionary Gardens. I started this firm in 2005, under the name David Marciniak Designs, LLC. As my practice grew, I saw opportunities to not only create unique landscape designs for clients throughout northern Virginia, but to help homeowners navigate the construction process. It doesn’t matter how much you liked the design if getting it implemented is one problem after another.
I grew up in Cumberland, Rhode Island. Surrounded by woods and water, I was raised with a deep appreciation for nature and the arts. I’ve worked in the landscape industry in New England, Ohio, California, and Arizona. In 2005 my wife was hired as a professor at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, so we settled in Virginia. This has turned out to be a great place to be a landscape designer. We have a huge plant palette, a fairly moderate climate, and a rich architectural history. Most importantly, I’ve met some amazing people in my time here. I love getting to meet new clients, and touching base with the many who have worked with me in the past. I love what I do, and that joy carries over into my work.
